This project required me to illustrate six Marvel characters and background elements for a Europe wide campaign by agency AKQA for Coca-Cola in collaboration with Marvel, Disneyland Paris and Disney+. The non-masked characters had to look like the characters but NOT the actors who played them which was something of a challenge.
Poster to promote the theatrical release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The brief was to capture the legacy of the Indiana Jones films heading towards this final outing. With maps having played a key role in every singe film I decided to present Indy's iconic profile as a land mass with interior details depicting his previous four adventures.
Two pieces created for Lucasfilm/Disney to promote The Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett.
Poster for Amazon's 2024 remake of the Patrick Swayze classic, Road House. The poster was produced for the film's theatrical premiere at SXSW, Austin, Texas. It was signed by members of the cast and given away to attendees.
One of the things I really enjoy is trying to recreate old styles of illustration and printing techniques. So this particular project to design the key art for series five of the popular online game show, Game Changer, seemed like a perfect fit. Here I was asked to create an image of the host, Sam Reich, as a late 19th Century stage magician and utilise elements of some of the games as 'phantasmagoric magic' swirling around him. I had a lot of fun with this one.
My contribution to 'Film On Canvas' - a book where different illustrators were asked to make film poster in the style of a well known artist. My choice for 'WIthnail and I' was an easy one... British Pop Artist, Peter Blake. In the book I write...
"Peter Blake’s paintings and collages gave 1960s Britain much of its visual identity. His sleeve design for The Beatles’ ‘Sgt Pepper’ album became the single most recognisable image that represents that decade’s explosion of creativity. Withnail and I, set in the closing days of 1969, presents us with a glimpse of the damp, mouldy underside… what has been swept under the carpet by nostalgia. It’s hilarious but grim and melancholic - a contrast to Blake’s work - but to my mind he would be the perfect choice of artist to produce a poster for the film.
In many ways the set of Withnail and I’s squalid London flat is already a Blake collage in itself… a mish mash of random postcards, cuttings, posters, archaic objects, furniture and empty bottles. I chose Blake’s ‘On The Balcony’ as the starting point for my piece - the colour palette seemed appropriate for the film and I liked the sense of it being simultaneously indoors and outdoors. I then combined it with similar graphic and typographic elements often used by Blake to bring the whole thing together as a poster."
Officially licensed print by Vice Press for one of my very favourite movies, Jaws.
Having already claimed one victim, the print depicts the scene moments before the great white shark takes its second, the young Alex Kintner, making its presence something that the town of Amity can no longer afford to ignore.

A larger, limited edition was available in June 2022. With a size of 24 x 36 inches and a print run of 250, the print featured extra characters and details from the film.
I was very excited to be asked by Vice Press to produce a print based on the classic Universal Monster movies from the 1930s, 40s and 50s.
The red “Sunset” version was produced as a limited, timed run in July 2021 available through Sideshow Art Prints in the USA. The monochrome “Midnight” version was an open edition available from Vice Press.
Initially a contribution to Printed In Blood’s Stranger Things artbook, “Visions From The Upside Down”, it was subsequently bought out by Netflix for official merchandise including canvas prints, t-shirts and jigsaws. Part of the agreement with Netflix is that can sell a limited edition print of this image which is available from my shop HERE
Officially licensed screen print for John Carpenter’s relentless classic slasher movie. Released by Bottleneck Gallery July 2019 in a regular ‘Moonlight’ blue edition of 200 and a variant ‘Pumpkin’ orange edition of 100. Size 24x36 inches.

Every Toy Story movie has been a delight so I was beyond happy to get the opportunity to do a piece of official art for the fourth instalment from Disney/Pixar via Poster Posse.
I was very pleased that Disney allowed me not to use the actual title on there… these characters are SO recognisable there was no mistaking what it was Toy Story with the number 4 formed by the negative space.
After seeing my work for Game Changer, I was approached my celebrated New York magician, Steve Cohen, to illustrate a new poster for his show. It is based around one of his signature tricks, Think-a-Drink, whereby his magic kettle can produce any drink an audience member requests.
An unusual project but a lot of fun. I was asked by Jon Noriega to provide six comic book cover style images that would act as an "illustrated CV" as part of the promotional material for a new app he was developing. Each cover took a fanciful, action oriented approach to highlighting his experiences, achievements and skills.
Officially licensed screen print for Acme Archives. This piece started off as a personal tribute to one of my very favourite films and formed part of Poster Posse's project to celebrate Alien's 35th Anniversary.

I was beyond ecstatic to be given the opportunity by Legendary/Warner Bros. via Poster Posse, to produce a piece of official art for the new film Kong: Skull Island. Used as part of a promotional exhibit at Bottleneck Gallery when the film opened and online worldwide for social media.
The image also went on to be used for the cover of the Original Soundtrack album released on vinyl by Waxworks Records.
This was a Poster Posse project to produce official promotional artwork for Marvel/20th Century Studios ‘New Mutants’. It was used worldwide for social media and as part of an online launch event with the cast.
Official promotional artwork for 20th Century Fox/Paramount and their latest instalment in the Terminator series. Used online and for social media worldwide.
A great opportunity to create some artwork for Sony's remake of the western classic, The Magnificent Seven, starring Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt and Ethan Hawke. One was to promote the theatrical release of the film in September 2016., The other three were used to publicise the film's release for home viewing early 2017.
Another unusual project. The brief was to produce a Thai style film poster/mural for the Plaza Raan Khao Gaeng restaurant in the Arcade Food Hall at the Centre point building in London. I did enjoy working on this but sadly all the elements that really pulled it together as film poster (and for it to make sense in the location) were removed by the client so I'm just showing the illustration element here.
My contribution to the official Hannibal Artbook. Was also available as an officially licensed limited edition print.
Warner Bros gave me the opportunity to produce a poster for Zack Snyder's Justice League. The poster was distributed through the US theatre chain Cinemark and given away at screenings of the film.
My first official piece of commissioned illustration. Disney via Poster Posse asked me produce artwork to promote the excellent animated movie Big Hero 6.
Officially licensed screen print for the brilliant 80s cult comedy horror film Killer Clowns From Outer Space commissioned by Fright Rags (www.fright-rags.com).
18" x 24" screen printed in 6 colours
Official Poster Posse artwork for 20th Century Studios animated feature, ‘Spies In Disguise’ starring Will Smith and Tom Holland. Used online worldwide for social media. I was asked to use Washington DC as a backdrop and chose to do a pigeon’s-eye view of the Washington Monument. It was also a mild nod to Holland’s role as Spider-man and a scene from Spider-man: Homecoming.
Originally a privately commissioned screen print for the George A. Romero classic zombie satire, the artwork went on to be used by Koch in Germany for their special edition 4K steelbook release.
